ROBIN MARC SHAPIRO

Robin Shapiro is Encore's CEO and a co-founder of the company.

Until 1995, he was a partner in one of the country's most prestigious international law firms. Before that, he was a legislative aide to a United States Congressman, wrote law-related features for a national radio network, and clerked for a judge of the United States Court of Appeals.

As an industry leader and innovator, he has drafted and successfully lobbied for enactment of legislation in more than eighteen states and in Congress and has played a leading role in arranging the financing and securitization of over one billion dollars in lottery prize (and other similar) cash flows.

Robin is a graduate of Swarthmore College (BA) and the Harvard Law School (JD).

CHARLES R. LOWE

Charles (“Chuck”) Lowe is Encore's CFO and a co-founder of the company.

Before co-founding Encore Funding, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the asset securitization industry. Most recently, he has played a leading role in arranging the financing and securitization of over one billion dollars in lottery prize (and other similar) cash flows.

Chuck is a graduate of Yale University (BA) and the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (MBA).
