Your Questions, Answered

Funding Questions

Encore Funding provides staffing firms with access to working capital by advancing funds against outstanding invoices. You submit your completed client invoices to Encore and we advance a significant portion of the invoice value—typically the same day or next day—so you can meet payroll and cover operational expenses without waiting for client payments. When your client pays the invoice, Encore releases the remaining balance minus a small, transparent fee.

Most staffing firms complete onboarding and receive their first advance within two to three weeks of submitting their application and required documents. Once your account is active, funding on each invoice submission is processed quickly, often the same day or the following business day. Apply outside of business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. EST) and you’ll hear back the next business day.

No. Invoice factoring is not a loan. Encore purchases your outstanding client invoices—your receivables—in exchange for immediate working capital. There is no debt added to your balance sheet, no hard collateral required, and no impact on your borrowing capacity with other lenders. Your available capital grows automatically as your invoice volume grows.

Encore Funding works with staffing firms across a wide range of industries, including healthcare and medical, IT and technology, hospitality, education, light industrial, office and clerical, government and public sector, disaster recovery, security, and transportation. We work with agencies at every stage, from startups making their first placements to enterprise agencies managing national contracts.

Yes. Because Encore’s funding is tied to your invoice volume—not a fixed credit line—your available capital scales automatically as your business grows. You can take on new clients, expand into new markets, and manage larger payroll cycles without renegotiating terms. You’ll never have to say no to a growth opportunity because your funding couldn’t keep up.

Advance rates typically range from 80 to 90% of invoice value, and in some full-service cases up to 100%. The specific rate depends on your agency’s invoice volume, industry, and client profile. Encore will walk you through your specific options during the consultation process.

When you factor invoices, your clients are directed to remit payment to Encore’s lockbox rather than directly to your agency. This is standard practice in invoice factoring and well understood by most mid-market and enterprise clients. Encore handles this transition professionally to preserve your client relationships.

Staffing Industry Questions

Traditional banks require hard collateral, strong credit history, and lengthy approval timelines, and their credit lines are typically capped and renegotiated annually. Encore’s funding is based on your receivables, not your credit history. There’s no hard collateral, no fixed ceiling, and no waiting weeks for approvals. Your capital access grows with your invoice volume, not on a bank’s schedule.

Yes. Because invoice factoring is not a loan and doesn’t appear as debt on your balance sheet, it can often be used alongside existing banking relationships. Many Encore clients use factoring as a complement to other financing. We’ll discuss the right structure for your situation during the consultation process.

Getting Started

Start by submitting an application through Encore’s Apply Now page or schedule a consultation to talk through your needs first. You’ll provide basic information about your business along with a detailed accounts receivable aging report. Our team reviews every application personally and will be in touch within one business day to discuss your options and next steps.

To begin the application process, you’ll typically need basic business information, a detailed accounts receivable aging report, and documentation related to your active client accounts. Encore’s team will guide you through the full document list during the onboarding process. We work to make it as streamlined as possible.

Yes. Many of Encore’s longest-tenured clients started with us in their first weeks of operation. We don’t require years of financial history or hard collateral. Funding is tied to your invoices, not your track record, so we can get new agencies funded from day one. We also offer back-office infrastructure and startup-specific resources to help new firms build a strong foundation.

Once approved and onboarded, you’ll be assigned a dedicated account team who will manage your account on an ongoing basis. You’ll submit invoices through Encore’s streamlined process, receive advances quickly, and have direct access to your team for any questions or support. From that point on, Encore operates as an extension of your business, not just a vendor you call when there’s a problem.

Funding-only clients receive invoice advances and collections support. Full-service clients get all of that plus payroll processing, payroll tax administration, invoicing, timekeeping, and software solutions, all managed by Encore in your name. Full-service clients typically benefit from faster funding, fewer operational headaches, and tighter integration between all their financial functions. We’ll help you determine the right fit during the consultation.
